2024年4月9日，基地举办春季学期师生学术研讨会（第二场），本场报告人为基地博士生王慧萍，硕士生林琳、解世阳。研讨会由基地专职科研人员魏岩军博士主持，基地主任王建勤教授、特聘教授Marcus Taft等多位老师以及基地研究生参加研讨会。
王慧萍的报告题目为“The Neural Mechanisms of Fossilization in Chinese L2 Learners' Syntactic Processing”。她介绍了“僵化（Fossilization）”，“关键期（Critical Period）”和“内隐、外隐学习（Implicit and Explicit Learning）”等概念，指出现有研究存在的问题，并提出研究设想和计划。林琳报告题目为“A Study on the Neural Mechanisms of Auditory Modalities in Disyllabic Compound Words—An experiment design”。她以汉语复合词为研究对象，运用神经影像分析技术，研究透明度和词频对汉语复合词加工的影响。解世阳报告题目为“The effect of the semantic relatedness between disyllable words and their constituents during visual word recognition”。她介绍了实验设计等研究内容。
Taft教授和基地老师对报告内容进行详细点评和讨论，对实验设计、材料控制等方面提出宝贵建议和意见，研讨会气氛热烈，同学们获益匪浅。
